in Goop Health: Luxury Health Summit

The world renowned luxury wellness summit series, In Goop Health, hosted by Goop leadership and founder Gwyneth Paltrow, was looking for event technology to create the ultimate luxury guest experience. Beginning with event production of the initial ticket purchase, to scheduling the guests’ sessions at the summit, to check in the day of the event and their selected session schedule throughout the day. This also includes on-site management of schedule changes during the summit. 

During the summit, there are restorative workshops and classes— for the spirit, for the body, for the mind, and for beauty—plus a signature Goop shop, wellness hall, food, and drinks. These sessions are highly sought after, such as celebrity manicurists or medical mediums with multi-year waitlists - so it was critical that there were no scheduling errors.

Leading up to the day of production, the ultimate luxury event experience starts with a seamless guest digital registration and scheduling experience.

Online ticket purchase

The summit is hosted multiple times per year in various locations (LA, NYC, and London). Tickets are open to the public, but sell out fast - In Goop Health has proven to be the most sought after luxury wellness experience, period.

Gated Scheduler

About a month before the summit, confirmed guests are sent an invitation to schedule their sessions for the summit. If you haven’t purchased a ticket, you will not have access through this screen to enter the gated scheduler experience. (VIPs get early scheduler access).

Complex schedule registration

The most important requirement needed from Event Farm was to create a schedule builder. Each guest needed to sign up for 3 sessions (1 per time slot), while showing the event capacity (ie, 2 guests out of 61 slots).

These sessions will fill up immediately once they become available to book. It was important for waitlist functionality to automatically kick in without the need for manual adjustments. In addition, it was essential that the guest was able to go back to edit their schedule at any time, and the waitlist would adjust accordingly.

Event Check-in

The complex schedule registration needs to simplify and integrated into event check-in experience. The brand ambassadors seamlessly guiding the guests into they luxury summit experience need only have the Event Farm check-in app downloaded on an iPad, which tells them where to send the guest.

Studio Sessions

Throughout these six studios—Feel, Glow, Move, Reinvent, Restore, and Shine—top practitioners, teachers, and authors will lead workshops for smaller groups. Whether the guest is looking to learn more about dreamwork or bounce cardio or hair health, the sessions are designed to arm them with practical tools and fresh insights.

The Think Room

The summit consists of panels and chats with the innovators who have a major impact in the health and wellness industry, including GP’s morning fireside chat to kick things off. Some of these panels will book up quickly, others have space left for drop in’s - of which Event Farm check in app will keep track of those who change sessions who quickly hop into new ones.
