Adobe Summit VIP Reception
Adobe hosted a VIP reception at Tao nightclub in Vegas during Adobe Summit, their largest event of the year. Leveraging event technology, the experience included a branded website for pre-event registration, a check-in app to track attendance and activate NFC enabled branded wristbands used by guests within the activation, and an experiential mobile app, used to run the experience on-site.
With the event app, timed SMS polls were sent by Adobe to guests every 30 minutes throughout the event to count requests of the next song the DJ was to play. The results were displayed in real time on a large screen behind the DJ as guests voted for their favorite song, and played shortly after the poll closed.
Brand ambassadors used iPhones and the Roving photographer module in the EFx app to take Snapchat-like filtered photos. The BA’s would immediately scan the guest’s NFC enabled wristbands which sent their photo via SMS to the guest. Simultaneously, the photos were sent to the Apple TV photo visualization app that was displayed on a large screen for guests to see their photos scrolling in real time.
