Guess Sport 2019

Guess Jeans hosted a two-day outdoor pop-up experience in LOT 5 at their HQ in Downtown L.A. to showcase and offer attendees early access to exclusive products coupled with live performances, entertainment and sporting events. Guess needed a solution that would help them manage attendee capacity (i.e. tracking LOT capacity), and marketplace demand.

Using event technology - Registration, Check-In, Access Control, and Fast Pass - to help with crowd control, Guess was able to track total attendees going in and out of the event, and provide a seamless in-event shopping experience that ensured guests wouldn’t miss a thing due to waiting in long lines.

Registration

Guests preregistered via an event registration platform. Walk-ups had the opportunity to register onsite.

Asset Activation

All registered guests were given NFC enabled wristbands that were activated by Guess Staff using a iOS Check-In app.

Access Control

Due to capacity limits, Guess had to know exactly how many attendees were in the Lot at a given time. Using Access Control, Guess Staff was able to check attendees in & out the lot grounds.

Product Purchase

The main attraction was the Guess Sporting Goods Store, where guests had the opportunity to purchase event exclusive product with various collaborating brands.

NFC enabled Fast pass

To manage marketplace demand and ensure attendees could enjoy the unique experiences happening at the event, Guess used Fast Pass to create a virtual line that notified attendees via text when it was their turn to enter the store. All attendees had to do was scan their NFC wristband on the iPad equipped with a NFC bluetooth reader to get added to the line.
